Black Friday in Myrtle Beach

Do you love to shop and crave Black Friday deals and the rush of being one of the first in line?


Myrtle Beach has you covered with a large variety of popular stores and plenty of malls and shopping centers to choose from.


Many Myrtle Beach holiday visitors choose to come into town Wednesday, enjoy Thanksgiving at one of the delicious Myrtle Beach restaurants, then get up early on Black Friday to get all the biggest deals at the many local shopping districts and malls.


Coastal Grand Mall | 6 a.m. Black Friday 


hotel BLUE is just 2.5 miles from one of Myrtle Beach’s popular malls: Coastal Grand Mall. Whether you choose to get good deals at the mall or want to start at one of the surrounding big box stores, you can easily stick to one area for your morning of shopping without having to travel far.


Stores located inside of Coastal Grand Mall include American Eagle Outfitters, Lids, Bed Bath & Beyond, GameStop, Sears and LOFT. Coastal Grand Mall will be opening its doors at 6 a.m. on Black Friday this year, although individual stores may open earlier.

Black Friday in Myrtle Beach


If you want to avoid the mall and stick to one major store, there are a few popular ones in the general vicinity of Coastal Grand. Stores such as WalMart Supercenter, hhgregg, Home Depot, Costco, Golfsmith, Best Buy and PetSmart are all located near the mall. Plus, for when you need a break from shopping, there are plenty of dining options in and near the mall including Red Robin, Logan’s Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, Starbucks, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Jimmyz Hibachi and McAllister’s Deli.


Broadway at the Beach | 10 a.m. Black Friday 


Another nearby shopping option is Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach, which will be opening at 10 a.m. on Black Friday. Shops can also be open optionally on Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Broadway is an open-plan shopping, dining and entertainment district. It’s a great place to shop if you are looking for a unique gift for that special person in your life. Such options include Broadway Magic, Coastal Carolina Winery, Beef Jerky Store, Klig’s Kites, MyCup and Man Cave Store South.


The Market Common | 8 a.m. Black Friday 


Check out The Market Common, opening 8 a.m. Black Friday, for a more leisurely day of shopping at shops such as Chico’s, Bath & Body Works, City Mac, Tommy Bahama and more. Take a break from shopping with lunch at one of the many delicious restaurants including Tupelo Honey and Gordon Biersch.


Tanger Outlets | 6 p.m. Thanksgiving 


If you prefer outlet shops, you may want to check out Tanger Outlets on Highway 501, which is home to such stores as Kay Jewelers Outlet, Nine West Outlet, Gap Factory Store, Coach, Banana Republic Factory Store, Nautica, Haggar and Nike Factory Store. They also have some delicious dining options for when you get hungry including Outback Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesday and Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Perfect. Tanger Outlets will be opening their doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving and will remain open overnight into Black Friday.
